Charity Music Night “Tet of Love”
According to Mr. Nguyễn Lê Ngọc Long – Secretary of the EIU Youth Union, the event aimed to promote the spirit of compassion and solidarity among union members and the youth of EIU during the Tet holiday season. “The Tet holiday is the most sacred time of the year—when families gather to welcome the New Year, children rejoice in new clothes, and share warm meals together. This program is a way to contribute to a fund that supports disadvantaged children and students returning home for Tet reunions with their families,” he emphasized.
The Organizing Committee presents gifts to children
During the event, the Organizing Committee distributed 20 Tet gift sets, each worth VND 300,000, to children living in the Becamex Dinh Hoa Social Housing area. The gesture brought joy and warmth to the children during the Lunar New Year season, spreading a message of compassion and ensuring a more fulfilling holiday for them.
The event also featured vibrant musical performances by EIU students, campus clubs, and representatives from other universities and colleges in Binh Duong. These performances created a festive and lively atmosphere, full of entertainment and youthful energy. Notably, all proceeds from ticket sales were allocated to support two upcoming charity initiatives organized by the Youth Union: “Tet of Sharing” and “Tet of Compassion”.
