On November 19, Eastern International University (EIU) hosted a talk show titled “Career Opportunities at Golden Gate Group”, attracting a large number of students. The event created an open and engaging space where students could listen, interact, and learn directly from representatives of Golden Gate Group, one of Vietnam’s leading F&B corporations.
Mr Dang Ngoc Tien shared at the talkshow
At the event, Mr Dang Ngoc Tien – Nationwide Employer Branding Manager at Golden Gate – shared his career journey in the F&B industry, along with practical insights into the working environment, corporate culture, and operational model of the group that owns well-known brands such as Gogi House, Kichi-Kichi, Manwah, and Sumo Yakiniku. Through stories drawn from real-life experience, EIU students gained a deeper understanding of how a large corporation attracts and develops talent, especially in the increasingly competitive F&B landscape.
EIU Students explore career opportunities at Golden Gate Group
Beyond sharing insights about the company’s culture, Mr Dang Ngoc Tien emphasized the career opportunities available to students, notably the G-Stars Freelancer Program — a flexible working model that allows students to earn additional income while developing professional skills and a strong work ethic. His insights offered students a realistic perspective on how to begin their career from entry-level positions, accumulate experience, and gradually progress toward specialist or managerial roles at Golden Gate Group.
The atmosphere became even more engaging during the Q&A session, as students proactively raised questions about career progression, recruitment requirements, essential skills, and job opportunities across Golden Gate’s restaurant network. Direct interaction with an industry professional enabled students to better understand employer expectations and reflect on their own readiness as they prepare for their future career paths

Through this program, the University’s Community Engagement Office in particular and EIU as a whole continue to affirm their commitment to integrating industry partnerships into the training process, creating opportunities for students to gain real-world exposure while still in school. The talk show “Career Opportunities at Golden Gate Group” not only provided knowledge and inspiration but also opened new doors for students across the university as they pursue promising career pathways in the dynamic F&B service industry.
