EIU partners with businesses to enhance managerial capacity

On August 21–22, Eastern International University (EIU), in collaboration with Protrade Garment, organized a training program on the topic of “Design Thinking for Professionals”. The program was directly instructed by Mr. Barnabas Chiang, Business Engagement Specialist from EIU’s Community Engagement Office.

Within the framework of the program, 23 managers and executives from Protrade Garment were introduced to the core principles of Design Thinking, from human-centered thinking and idea development to prototype testing. Notably, through group work, participants had the opportunity to apply their knowledge to develop solutions for practical challenges within the company.

Collaboration and engagement with businesses have always been a hallmark of EIU, alongside its missions of teaching, scientific research, and international cooperation.
