On May 25, 2024, EIU successfully organized the workshop “Design Thinking”, led by experienced expert Mr. Barnabas Chiang. The session welcomed more than 30 participants, including EIU alumni and business partners currently working at companies such as Becamex Tokyu, Ashley Furniture, Wanek Furniture, Tecan-Pmas, Detmold Packaging, XP Power, Ecco, Rohto Mentholatum Vietnam, Shopee, Crocs, Nitto Denko, Cicor Vietnam, Becamex Binh Duong Youth Football Training JSC, Public Bank, as well as several self-employed professionals.

Through a full day of learning and practicing Design Thinking, participants explored the key steps and techniques for solving problems creatively and optimizing solution effectiveness. In addition, they were divided into groups to collaboratively tackle a real-world challenge by applying the stages of the Design Thinking process.

At the end of the day, upon completing the workshop, each participant received a Certificate of Participation from Eastern International University (EIU). Design Thinking is one of the topics in a series of professional development and skill enhancement workshops designed for working professionals.
