EIU Commends Students for Outstanding Achievements at the 31st National Mathematics Olympiad for Students

On the morning of May 20, Eastern International University (EIU) held a commendation ceremony to honor students who achieved high results at the 31st National Mathematics Olympiad for Students.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ngo Minh Đuc, the university’s President, awarded certificates of commendation to student Pham Nhu Y for securing third place in Algebra and student Pham Phuong Thanh for securing third place in Calculus. Both are students from the Faculty of Engineering. Additionally, four other team members were recognized for their active participation and significant improvement throughout the preparation and competition process.

Dr. Ngo Minh Duc – President of the University – presented certificates of commendation to students Pham Nhu Y and Pham Phuong Thanh.

The university also acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Le Nguyen Viet Tuong, a lecturer from the Faculty of General Education, who directly guided the team and provided continuous support during the competition.

In his speech, Dr. Ngo Minh Đuc congratulated the students on their achievements and commended their dedication and relentless efforts. He expressed hope that they would continue to pursue their passion for learning, actively participate in academic competitions, and inspire the EIU student community. He emphasized the university’s commitment to providing opportunities for students to engage in competitions and real-world experiences to unlock their potential and reach new academic heights.
