In harmony with the joyful spirit nationwide toward the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, on November 20, 2025, Eastern International University (EIU) organized a gathering to honor and express gratitude to the university’s staff members, lecturers, and specialists.
Mr Nguyen Tan Loi – The Chairman of the Eastern International University Council delivers remarks at the event
Speaking at the event, Mr Nguyen Tan Loi – Chairman of the Eastern International University Council – emphasized that education carries the responsibility of nurturing future generations, creating ‘products’ that are knowledge, skills, and attitudes for society. Teaching is not something distant or sacred, yet it is a profoundly important mission for the sustainable development of the country. Therefore, every educator bears silent hardships of their own. I hope that within our university, we – as teachers, colleagues, and leaders – will continue to share these challenges, shoulder responsibilities together, and build an educational ecosystem that is united, compassionate, and effective.
Dr Ngo Minh Duc – the President of the University – shared his insights during the discussion session
“Within the framework of the program, the University organized three discussion sessions centered around the theme of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, namely: “University Lecturers: Did We Choose the Profession or Did the Profession Choose Us?”; “The Future of University Lecturers in a New Context”; and “Building a Community-Oriented University.” Through the insightful and heartfelt sharing of lecturers in each session, participants gained meaningful reflections on their journey into the profession, their adaptability in a changing environment, and their responsibility to spread knowledge to the community. These discussions reaffirmed the enduring significance of the educational mission.”
The “Duyen dang Ao dai” performance by EIU lecturers
In the warm and vibrant atmosphere of the program, lecturers from various faculties, departments, and units came together to participate in an áo dài performance. Every presentation was carefully prepared, bringing moments of relaxation, joy, and excitement to the event, while helping spread traditional cultural values and the love for the Vietnamese áo dài among EIU staff and students. On this occasion, students also expressed their gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to their teachers through many meaningful and well-prepared musical performances.
