From October 12 to 18, 2025, EIU’s top students – including valedictorians of each program and the university’s overall valedictorian – participated in a study and field trip in Singapore, fully sponsored by EIU.
During the seven-day trip, EIU students visited and learned at leading technology, innovation, and business centers such as ARTC, Block 71, Bosch Center, Argor, Uhoo, and Tictag. These visits provided opportunities to observe the real-world operations of international enterprises, explore models connecting research, application, and market development, while also broadening their understanding of workplace culture, creative thinking, and global integration skills.

In addition, the students had the opportunity to explore prominent development models such as ARTC – A*STAR, Block71 Singapore, and Bosch Center, which are recognized as leading organizations in the fields of research, technology, and entrepreneurship. Here, they directly observed work processes, engaged in discussions with experts, and gained deeper insights into how international organizations operate in the digital age. Alongside academic and professional visits, the journey also offered the top students diverse cultural experiences, including visits to China Town, Changi Airport, ArtScience Museum, and Fort Canning Park.
Each destination served as a practical lesson, broadening their perspectives and nurturing creativity and global thinking—essential qualities for adapting to modern work environments. The trip was not only a learning experience but also a journey of connection, discovery, and personal growth, helping students become more mature through every experience.
In addition to the field trip activities, students also explored Singapore at its famous landmarks.
The international internship program is an annual activity designed to help students gain real-world business exposure, broaden their perspectives, and equip themselves with essential skills for their future careers. EIU believes that after this trip, students will carry with them great inspiration, motivation, and positive energy to continue writing their own journeys of learning and growth.
The 2025 Singapore internship concluded not only with valuable lessons but also with pride, as EIU students demonstrated a spirit of curiosity, responsibility, and the admirable image of a young generation ready for global integration.
