On September 17, 2025, Eastern International University (EIU) had the honor of being the first stop of the Unitour program “Green Buildings – Green Consumption”, initiated by the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association (HVNCLC). This event was not only the official launch of the program but also a strong affirmation of EIU’s mission as a university that consistently pioneers in placing sustainable development at the heart of knowledge, action, and innovation.
The program was attended by Ms. Vu Kim Hanh – Chairwoman of HVNCLC, along with representatives of many reputable businesses, media agencies, as well as the University Council, the Board of Rectors, faculty, staff, and students of EIU.
EIU – For a Sustainable Green Future
Since its establishment, Eastern International University (EIU) has embraced sustainable development as a core orientation. This value is not only reflected in its green campus design and modern facilities but is also deeply embedded in its academic programs, research activities, and strong connections with businesses and the community. EIU aspires to build an ecosystem where knowledge goes hand in hand with action, contributing to a greener future and long-term development for society.
Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, Rector of EIU, shared about the university’s sustainable development orientation
Speaking at the program, Dr. Ngô Minh Đức – President of EIU emphasized: Sustainable development is not a passing trend, but an inevitable path of modern society. At EIU, sustainability has been nurtured since the very first days of its establishment and is cultivated in every lecture, every research project, and every activity that connects with the community and businesses.
Also at the event, Ms. Vũ Kim Hạnh – Chairwoman of HVNCLC shared her special impression when visiting EIU: from the green learning environment to the students’ creativity closely tied to real-world practice. She affirmed that it is precisely the comprehensive ecosystem – where knowledge, research, businesses, and the community go hand in hand – that makes EIU the perfect choice to launch the Unitour journey.
Enterprises in Partnership – Creative Students – Sustainable R&D
The Unitour ‘Green Buildings – Green Consumption’ was designed with the goal of bringing real-world business stories into the classroom, creating a direct dialogue between students and businesses. Through this, students not only gain knowledge from lectures but also have the opportunity to listen and learn from business practitioners and pioneering leaders in the green transition journey.
Ms. Vu Kim Hanh – Chairwoman of the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association shared at the program.
Within the framework of the UniTour program at EIU, this message was powerfully conveyed through the sharing of businesses such as OPC Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Vina T&T Group in the panel discussion “Enterprises Accompany – Students Innovate – Sustainable R&D.” Business leaders emphasized the vital role of research and development (R&D) in building green and sustainable business models. This aligns perfectly with EIU’s training and research orientation – encouraging students to be creative, proactive, and to find new solutions to society’s challenges.
The event at EIU not only marked the beginning of the UniTour series but also laid the foundation for a long-term collaboration where enterprises and students work hand in hand to build a sustainable green future. It opened up a promising picture of cooperation: enterprises contribute experience and resources, while students bring knowledge, youth, and fresh ideas. This collaboration creates a two-way flow of knowledge – where students’ ideas can become practical solutions, and enterprises can discover a source of creative, resilient, and bold human resources.
