BBS Honors Program: Field experience at Giant Manufacturing Vietnam

Recently, students enrolled in the BBS Honors Program at the Becamex Business School had the opportunity to undertake a practical field visit to Giant Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd, one of the world’s leading bicycle manufacturing and assembly companies.

During the program, a company representative provided the students with an overview of the company, its expansion into the Vietnamese market, and its development strategy within the bicycle industry. In addition, the students gained direct access to information about the company’s operating model, production scale, and business strategy, which enabled them to better understand how theory is applied in practice.

The highlight of the visit was the hands-on experience at the production line, where students directly observed the entire process of machining, painting, and assembling complete bicycles. The modern machinery system and professional workflow offered students a vivid and authentic perspective on large-scale manufacturing, while also helping them develop their observation and analytical skills, and connect academic knowledge with real-world practice.
