On July 21, 2023, Eastern International University (EIU) welcomed and collaborated with a delegation from the University of Malaya – Malaysia and the University of Finance and Marketing. The program aimed to promote exchange and cooperation activities between EIU and prestigious domestic and international universities.
During the event, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the learning environment and explore various units within EIU’s innovative ecosystem, including the Library, Becamex Business Incubator, Industry 4.0 Innovation Center, and more. As a pioneer in establishing an innovative ecosystem, EIU not only provides a place for students to study and develop themselves but also serves as a driving force to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation activities for students and the community. This is evident through various initiatives, ranging from startup funding advice to the creation of initial prototypes and manufacturing of products.
Additionally, the delegation learned about the social housing projects invested by Becamex Corporation. These projects aim to attract a skilled workforce to live, work, and study in Binh Duong Province. As a result, the well-planned social housing meets the “settling down and finding employment” needs of workers and contributes to the local socio-economic development.
Expanding exchanges with reputable educational institutions, both domestically and internationally, is one of the top priorities of EIU. This activity not only allows the university to learn from and share experiences in education, technology transfer, and strengthen research collaborations but also creates opportunities for students to exchange knowledge, learn, and update themselves with new insights and experiences in their studies and daily lives.
