Cultural Exchange and Connection with National University of Singapore Students

A group of 35 students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) recently participated in a cultural exchange program with students from Eastern International University (EIU) through the Impact & Innovation Immersion program (I3P).

During the I3P program held at EIU on December 12, NUS students explored the university’s vision, mission, and its role in training high-quality human resources amid the dynamic and sustainable development of Binh Duong province and the Southeast region as part of Vietnam’s industrialization and modernization efforts. They also had the opportunity to experience EIU’s learning environment, infrastructure, classrooms, and laboratories.

Truong Chau Phuoc Loc, a student from EIU’s Faculty of Information Technology and a participant in the I3P program, shared: “Through this cultural exchange with NUS students, I gained a deeper and more detailed perspective on Singapore and its people. Moreover, during our conversations, I took the chance to introduce them to Vietnamese culture and EIU’s academic environment. I sincerely hope that we will meet again in the future, and it would be incredible if that reunion happened in Singapore.”

The Impact & Innovation Immersion program fostered mutual understanding and strong bonds between Vietnamese and Singaporean students, specifically between EIU and NUS students. This highlights the importance of international integration in education, contributing to more effective and robust collaboration between the two institutions under their partnership agreements.
