Following the success of coordinating the 1st Phase of the 2025 HCM National University Competency Assessment Exam, on June 1, 2025, Eastern International University (EIU) continued to collaborate with Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) to host the 2nd Phase of the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam in Binh Duong Province.
To facilitate parents in dropping off and picking up their children at EIU, the university arranged motorbike and car parking areas, with staff available to guide parents to the university’s free parking zones. Additionally, Auditorium 200.B3 with a seating capacity of 500 has been prepared, offering free teabreaks, allowing parents to rest and enjoy refreshments while waiting for students to complete their exams.
According to a press release by VNU-HCM on EIU’s website regarding the exam structure applied from 2025, the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam is largely similar to international standardized tests such as the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT, USA), Psychometric Entrance Test (PET, Israel), and General Aptitude Test (GAT, Thailand). Like Phase 1, the 2nd Phase of the 2025 Exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 150 minutes, and the test is conducted on paper.
Notably, candidates scoring 850/1200 or above on the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam will receive a full scholarship when enrolling in Engineering, Information Technology, or Nursing programs at EIU this admission cycle.
The full scholarship value for Engineering and Information Technology programs is VND 151,000,000, and for Nursing programs, VND 127,000,000 per student. Each scholarship covers English language tuition to reach a minimum IELTS 6.0 and four years of professional program tuition fees.
