Author Tran Van Tho is a highly respected economist both domestically and internationally, an Honorary Professor at Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan), a recipient of the Order of the Sacred Treasure (Gold Rays with Rosette) from the Japanese Government, and a member of the Economic Advisory Council for several Vietnamese Prime Ministers. He is the author of numerous influential economics books in Japan and Vietnam, five of which have been honored with the Good Book Award.
