OELP 2025: A Journey of knowledge and experience in Vietnam

From September 29 to October 3, 2025, students and lecturers from the School of Business Management, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Singapore, had the opportunity to study, exchange, and experience at Eastern International University (EIU) as part of the Overseas Experiential Learning Programme (OELP 2025)

Joining a Workshop at EIU

With the support of the Community Engagement Office, NYP students participated in a workshop aimed at enhancing soft skills together with EIU students. Following the session, participants shared their excitement about the new knowledge and experiences gained, as well as the friendships and connections that transcended national borders and cultural differences. This meaningful exchange highlighted the value of academic collaboration and cultural interaction in broadening horizons and nurturing a spirit of global integration.

NYP students visited businesses in Ho Chi Minh City

During their five days in Ho Chi Minh City, the group of students and lecturers from Singapore had the opportunity to explore Vietnam’s diverse business ecosystem — from high-tech industries to finance and commerce — within the context of global integration. In addition, they gained vivid insights into Vietnam’s history, culture, and people through a series of meaningful experiential activities.

The program concluded an inspiring and memorable OELP 2025 journey between EIU and NYP. The success of OELP reaffirms the strong and enduring partnership between the two institutions, while opening up new opportunities for deeper collaboration in the future. This journey not only provided valuable practical knowledge but also helped students shape their career paths and nurture their global aspirations. EIU and NYP remain committed to further strengthening this spirit of cooperation in the years to come.
