Nearly 900 High School students explore the learning environment at EIU

On May 8, 2026, Eastern International University (EIU) welcomed the Boards of Management, teachers, and nearly 900 students from Ben Cat High School and Tran Van On High School in Ho Chi Minh City for a campus visit to explore the university’s learning environment.

Representing EIU at the welcoming session was Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, Vice President of the University. The high school delegation included Ms. Huynh Ngoc Thien, Vice Principal of Ben Cat High School, along with teachers and nearly 900 students from the two schools.

During the program, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy provided an overview of EIU’s development orientation, academic programs, scholarship policies, and international-standard learning environment. He also shared insights into workforce requirements in the new context and the advantages EIU students gain upon graduation with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, offering high school students more practical perspectives for their career orientation.

Students tour EIU’s modern facilities

In addition to the exchange session, teachers and students from the two high schools also had the opportunity to tour EIU’s modern facilities, including the Library, the Industrial Innovation Center 4.0, the Advanced Manufacturing Center, the Sustainable Solutions Center, the Cybersecurity Center, classrooms, laboratories, and more.

On this occasion, EIU awarded 41 scholarships — including Talent Scholarships, Scholarships for Female Students in Engineering Programs, and IELTS Scholarships — to students from Ben Cat High School who had applied for EIU’s scholarship programs.
