EIU Welcomes HKU Business School Students, Strengthening International Connections

On June 1, Eastern International University (EIU) welcomed more than 30 students from HKU Business School (The University of Hong Kong) as part of the Asia Pacific Study Tour 2026 in Vietnam.

Mr. Barnabas Chiang, Business Engagement Specialist at EIU’s Community Engagement Office, shared insights on the “Six Thinking Hats” framework during the program.

During the program, students from both institutions participated in the Six Thinking Hats workshop. In addition to the academic session, HKU Business School students toured EIU’s facilities and gained insights into the University’s learning environment.

Mr. Kieu Manh Kha, Head of the International Cooperation Office at EIU, shared insights on EIU and the Becamex ecosystem.

As part of the program, they were also introduced to the Becamex ecosystem and had the opportunity to visit and learn from real-world operations at Vietnam – Singapore Smart Energy Solutions JSC (VSSES).

Through these academic and experiential activities, students from EIU and HKU Business School had the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, broaden their global perspectives, and enhance cross-cultural understanding. The program also served as a valuable platform for further student engagement and academic collaboration between the two institutions in the future./.
