On April 8, Eastern International University (EIU) launched the “Interdisciplinary Community Project Course” (ICPC 200) for Semester 3, with the participation of more than 20 students from the School of Computing and Information Technology, School of Engineering and Becamex Business School.

Representatives from FamilyMart Vietnam shared insights with students during the program
As part of this course, lecturers and students had an in-person working session with representatives from FamilyMart Vietnam. During the session, the company shared its development directions and current operational priorities, thereby presenting practical challenges for students to address. Based on these insights, EIU’s interdisciplinary student teams will work together to propose solutions for the company, focusing on three key areas: designing an “Ecosmart” convenience store model, optimizing operating costs, and innovating the customer experience.

ICPC 200 is a signature experiential learning course at EIU, providing students from diverse disciplines with opportunities to engage in projects that address practical challenges faced by businesses and the community. Through this project, students not only gain real-world exposure but also develop creative thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
