On September 30, Eastern International University (EIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Odoo HK Limited (hereinafter referred to as Odoo).

Under the MOU, Odoo will provide access to educational applications through its educational database (Edu-database), enabling EIU faculty members and students to utilize these applications for teaching and learning. In addition, Odoo will collaborate with EIU to organize training courses and workshops for faculty members and students.

Odoo is a company specializing in the development of an open-source business management software platform, offering a comprehensive ecosystem of applications for various business operations, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), accounting, sales, e-commerce, inventory management, and project management. With a global network of over 21,000 partners and 28 million users, Odoo will provide a practical technology environment that aligns with EIU’s commitment to industry-oriented education and training.

Through the MOU, EIU faculty members and students will have the opportunity to access Odoo’s business management applications and gain practical experience with tools used in real business environments. The open-source platform will also help students understand how business management systems are connected, operated, and used in different industries. This collaboration will help EIU strengthen its technology-based education, better meet industry needs, and build stronger connections with the business community.
