Notably, the MBA students in this intake are professionals who have already established stable careers across a wide range of businesses and organizations. For them, pursuing an MBA at EIU is more than a continuation of their academic journey; it represents a strategic investment in personal growth, leadership development, and future career advancement opportunities.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi – Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Ngo Minh Duc – President of EIU; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trong – Vice Presidents of EIU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tien Khoa – Director of the MBA Program; guest speaker Dr. Dang Loi Hoan – Head of Contract Logistics ASEAN, A.P. Moller – Maersk; along with faculty leaders, department representatives, lecturers, and students of the EIU MBA Program.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc – President of EIU, extended his congratulations to the new MBA students and emphasized that the launch of the MBA program marks an important milestone in EIU’s development journey. Amid the rapid transformation of the economy and industry, along with changes driven by technology, global competition, digital transformation, and the growing demand for sustainable development, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc noted that organizations today need not only capable managers, but also leaders with strategic thinking, the ability to drive innovation, adapt to change, and act with integrity, social responsibility, and ethical judgment. With this vision, EIU’s MBA program is expected to contribute to developing future-ready leaders who can create practical value for businesses, industries, and national development.

Representing the new MBA cohort, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien shared his pride in returning to EIU to embark on a new academic journey. Speaking from the perspective of an alumnus, he remarked that EIU is not only a place that equips learners with a strong foundation of knowledge and professional ethics, but also an environment that effectively bridges academic learning with real-world business practice. In particular, as part of the Becamex ecosystem, EIU offers MBA students unique opportunities to gain exposure to practical business environments, develop modern management thinking, and cultivate a global perspective, essential qualities for leadership in today’s dynamic and interconnected world.

At the program, participants had the opportunity to attend an inspiring sharing session by Dr. Dang Loi Hoan – ASEAN Regional Logistics Executive of Maersk and a certified instructor in leadership, logistics, and supply chain management, on the topic “MBA: Investing in Yourself – My Journey, My Transformation.” Drawing from his own journey of learning, working, and leading in an international environment, the speaker offered practical insights into the value of an MBA program for professional development. He emphasized that experience can shape professional intuition, while education helps learners develop a structured way of thinking. In today’s management environment, leadership requires both: practical experience gained from real-world exposure and a mindset systematically shaped through education. Dr. Dang Loi Hoan also shared that an MBA challenges learners not only through knowledge, but also through time pressure, discipline, and the ability to sustain resilience. It is also a journey in which each student builds learning teams, connects with lecturers, broadens their perspectives, and gradually transforms themselves.

This served as an important foundation for students to gain a deeper understanding of the program’s educational direction, learning pathway, core values, and spirit of companionship that EIU aims to foster throughout their MBA journey.
