After 10 weeks of learning, financial analysis, and report development, the EIU Equity Research Challenge 2026 officially concluded on June 6, 2026, with an exciting and highly competitive Final Round. Emerging as the Champion of this year’s competition was Team POLYGON.
Organized by the BBS Finance Club, with the support of Kafi Securities Corporation and Smart Train Academy, the competition offered students a valuable opportunity to apply equity research methodologies, analytical thinking, and investment perspectives while evaluating a listed company, formulating investment recommendations, and defending their analyses before the Panel of Judges. The subject company for this year’s competition was PETROVIETNAM DRILLING & WELL SERVICES JSC (PV Drilling – HOSE: PVD), listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE).
Throughout the competition, the participating teams demonstrated a strong sense of commitment, effective teamwork, critical thinking, and remarkable growth throughout each stage of the competition. Each research report, presentation, and Q&A session reflected the dedication, professionalism, and perseverance invested throughout the 10-week journey.
Congratulations to all participating teams on successfully completing this challenging and rewarding journey. Beyond the final rankings, the competition provided valuable practical experience and served as an important stepping stone for students pursuing careers in finance, equity research, and investment analysis.
