On September 8, Eastern International University (EIU) organized the 2026 Welcome EIU Freshmen 2026 program.
At the program, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc – President of EIU, welcomed the freshmen. He shared that throughout their studies, the University will organize many useful activities for students. He encouraged them to actively take part, learn, and gain more experiences to make their university journey more meaningful. Most importantly, he emphasized that opportunities are truly valuable only when students take the initiative to seize them.

Sharing an inspiring message with freshmen on the topic “From High School to University,” Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi – Chairman of EIU, noted that entering university also means beginning to take greater responsibility for one’s learning, time, relationships, and decisions. He encouraged students to focus on developing their knowledge, skills, and attitudes, while actively taking part in projects, activities, and practical experiences to prepare for their future careers.

As part of the program, freshmen were introduced to EIU’s units, academic support channels, field trips, internships, community activities, and extracurricular activities. Through these sessions, students gained more information about their study pathways and career opportunities at EIU. The program marked the beginning of the new academic year, helping the 2026 freshmen become familiar with the university environment and prepare for their learning journey ahead.
