EIU – CSMU Volunteering Programme 2026: A Journey of Friendship and Community

Following four inspiring days of activities (June 29 – July 2), the EIU – CSMU International Volunteer Program 2026, jointly organized by Eastern International University (EIU) and Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU), officially concluded, leaving behind memorable experiences that reflected the spirit of volunteerism, fostered cross-cultural exchange, and strengthened international collaboration.

Mr. Nguyễn Lê Ngọc Long, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Eastern International University, delivered the closing remarks at the program.

A representative of Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU) shared remarks at the closing ceremony.

Throughout the program, under the coordination of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of EIU, students from both institutions took part in various volunteer initiatives across northern Ho Chi Minh City. These included community service at Que Huong Humanitarian Center, teaching at charity classes in Chanh Hiep Ward, and organizing English classes for children at the EIU Library. Through these meaningful activities, the volunteers demonstrated a strong sense of social responsibility while creating a positive and lasting impact on local communities and children.

EIU and CSMU students participated in volunteer activities at the Chanh Hiep Ward Charity Class.

More than a volunteer initiative, the EIU – CSMU International Volunteer Program 2026 also served as a platform for cultural and academic exchange between students from the two universities. Through shared experiences, collaborative community service projects, and teamwork in a multicultural environment, participants enhanced their communication skills, strengthened their spirit of collaboration, improved their adaptability, and deepened their sense of social responsibility.

The EIU – CSMU International Volunteer Program 2026 once again reaffirmed EIU’s commitment to promoting international collaboration alongside social responsibility. The program contributes to creating an enriching learning environment where students not only develop professional knowledge but also cultivate humanitarian values and the competencies needed to become responsible global citizens.
