Eastern International University Student Volleyball Team Wins Consolation Prize at the Thien Tan Volleyball Cup 2026

After two days of competition (May 16–17), the Eastern International University (EIU) student volleyball team won the Consolation Prize at the Thien Tan Volleyball Cup 2026, following an energetic and determined journey against many strong opponents from universities and colleges in the area.

Thien Tan Volleyball Cup 2026 took place at three venues, including the Public Service Center of Tan Son Nhat Ward, the Public Service Center of Dong Hoa Ward, and the Public Service Center of Dong Thanh Commune in Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament is regarded as a sports playground for students, contributing to the promotion of physical training and strengthening exchanges among educational institutions.

This year, the tournament attracted 36 teams, including 28 teams from universities and colleges and 8 teams from high schools. The teams competed in a round-robin format, creating a lively competitive atmosphere with many exciting matches.
