Eastern International University Holds 2026 Graduation Ceremony

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and Honorary Chairman of the EIU University Council; Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of Becamex Group; Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman of the EIU University Council; representatives from partner enterprises; EIU leaders, staff and faculty members; parents; and the new graduates.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, President of EIU, congratulated the new graduates on completing an important stage in their journey of learning and personal growth. He also expressed his appreciation to investors, businesses, organizations, schools, and domestic and international partners for their continued trust and support for EIU, which have provided students with valuable opportunities to visit businesses, take part in real-world projects and internships, join international exchange programs and research activities, and access their first career opportunities, creating strong connections and continuous support throughout their studies at EIU.

Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, President of EIU, particularly emphasized that insights from the business community on workforce needs, changes in the labor market, and real-world requirements have helped EIU continuously improve its academic programs and teaching methods.Therefore, the achievements of EIU’s new graduates today also reflect the valuable contributions of the business community and partners who have worked with the University to create an environment where students can learn and grow.

Founded and invested in by Becamex Group, EIU has a mission to educate and provide high-quality human resources for society. The University is expected to play an important role in connecting knowledge, businesses, technology, and the community, contributing to the development ecosystem of the former Binh Duong Province, now the Science and Technology Urban Area in northern Ho Chi Minh City.

Throughout its 16 years of development, EIU has always focused on connecting education with real-world practice through research activities, interdisciplinary projects, and academic competitions. Through these activities, students have gradually learned to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges faced by businesses and society.

With the mission of “Advancing Knowledge, Serving the Community,” EIU has educated and provided society with high-quality human resources. In particular, 100% of EIU students are required to achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 before graduation. This is one of EIU’s mandatory graduation requirements, helping students prepare to work and integrate into an international environment.

In 2026, EIU has continued to expand its international cooperation network and will further strengthen these connections. The University is also gradually promoting scientific research by organizing and co-organizing international academic conferences. At the same time, an increasing number of research works by EIU faculty and staff have been published in reputable international academic journals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman of the EIU University Council, shared that the professional knowledge, English language skills, and practical experience gained during their studies would provide a strong foundation for EIU graduates to develop their abilities and contribute positively to the community and society.

Encouraging the graduates to become valuable members of society, Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman of the EIU University Council, expressed his hope that wherever they go, they will always strive to create value for their organizations, communities, country, and the people around them.
