The top-scoring freshmen of Eastern International University (EIU) for 2025–2026 have begun their field trip in Singapore. The program runs from 2nd to 8th August 2026, with all expenses fully sponsored by EIU.

During the first days of the program, the students had the opportunity to experience a real working environment in the technology, electronics, and semiconductor industries. With the support of EIU’s Office of Community Engagement, the group visited MEDs Technologies.
At MEDs Technologies, company representatives introduced students to RF technology, its applications, the manufacturing process, and the company’s operations in the semiconductor industry. Throughout the visit, the students actively engaged with the representatives, asking questions about the technology, work processes, and career opportunities in the field.

During the program, the students also visited the National Museum of Singapore to learn about the history and development of Singapore. In the coming days, they will continue their field trip with learning activities and exchange programs at universities, organizations, and companies across Singapore.
