The results of the first phase of the 2026 VNU-HCM Competency Assessment Test (V-ACT), organized by Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, have been announced, while candidates are now entering the registration period for the second phase. This is an important time for candidates to consider and choose the admission method that best suits them.
In 2026, Eastern International University (EIU) applies four admission methods, including the V-ACT results as one of the options, giving candidates more flexibility when applying for admission to EIU.
1. General Admission Requirements: Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for admission consideration:
Minimum score: Achieve a score of at least 600 out of 1,200 in the 2026 V-ACT.
Additional requirement (for candidates graduating in 2026): Candidates must have a total score of at least 15.00 points (on a 30-point scale) in three subjects of the High School Graduation Examination according to the admission subject combination, or use the scores of Mathematics, Literature, and one other elective subject.
2. For the Nursing program: In addition to the above requirements, candidates applying for admission to the Nursing program must meet the minimum entrance quality assurance threshold in accordance with the current regulations announced by the Ministry of Education and Training in 2026.
3. Opportunity to receive the Talent Scholarship through the V-ACT admission method: In addition to being admitted, candidates with outstanding V-ACT results also have the opportunity to receive the University’s Talent Scholarship. The specific eligibility requirement is as follows:
Required score: Achieve a score of at least 850 out of 1,200 in the 2026 V-ACT.
