OELP 2026: Connecting EIU and Nanyang Polytechnic Students Through Real-World Experiences

On September 15, students from Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore) joined exchange and experiential activities at Eastern International University (EIU) as part of the OELP 2026 program.

At the program, Mr. Barnabas Chiang – Community Engagement Office, EIU, introduced the “Six Thinking Hats” method to help students from both institutions exchange ideas and practice problem-solving skills through a simulated F&B startup project.

Later that afternoon, the NYP delegation visited the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City. There, students learned about trade promotion activities in Ho Chi Minh City. They were also introduced to the role of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) in promoting global trade integration.

According to the schedule, in the following days, NYP and EIU students will visit and learn at companies such as Becamex Tokyu, SSI Securities, and ETEK Automation. These activities will help students better understand real working environments and gain more insights into how businesses operate.

OELP 2026 takes place from September 14 to 18 at EIU. It is an annual international experiential program between EIU and NYP, giving students from Singapore opportunities to learn more about Vietnam through academic activities, company visits, and real-world experiences. The program also creates opportunities for students from both institutions to interact and share experiences with one another.
