Learning from Real-World Experiences: EIU Students’ Singapore Field Trip

From September 6 to 12, 2026, EIU students spent a week learning, exploring, and connecting in Singapore. Each destination offered a different experience, from technology and education to culture and daily life.

At A*STAR ARTC and Bosch Rexroth, students explored advanced solutions in technology, manufacturing, and industrial training, helping them better understand how knowledge is applied in real-world settings.

In addition, students had opportunities for academic exchange, explored international learning environments, shared experiences, and connected with new friends at educational institutions in Singapore, including Nanyang Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, and Singapore Polytechnic.

In addition to learning experiences, the trip also gave students different perspectives on Singapore through unique destinations such as Little India, Singapore City Gallery, Fort Canning Park, Clarke Quay Riverside, and Universal Studios. At each place, students had the chance to experience the city’s culture, landscape, and daily life in their own way.

Singapore Field Trip 2026 gave students the opportunity to step beyond familiar environments, learn from new settings, develop their adaptability, and gain valuable experiences for their future academic and career journey.
