Indian Students Conclude Internship Program by Presenting Research Outcomes at EIU

On July 2, after completing a two-month internship (from May to July 2026) at the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC), Eastern International University (EIU), nine students from Amity University Uttar Pradesh (India) presented their internship outcomes to the faculty supervisors during the program’s final presentation session.

Students from Amity University Uttar Pradesh presented their internship outcomes during the program.

During their internship, the students conducted a range of research projects aligned with emerging technology trends, including “Calibration-Aware Semi-Supervised Learning for Millimeter-Precision Rack Alignment Detection in Smart Warehouses,” “Computational Approaches to Safety-Aware Global Road Navigation,” “Robotic Grasping System using Reinforcement Learning,” and “Smart AI Framework for Berry Detection, Classification, and Segmentation for Multifunctional Applications.” These projects focused on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, computer vision, and intelligent systems, with the aim of addressing real-world challenges in modern manufacturing and industry.

Dr. Lê Ngọc Huẩn, Director of the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC), EIU, provided feedback on the students’ research projects.

During the presentation session, each student group shared the progress of their research conducted at the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC), highlighting the outcomes achieved and the future development directions of their projects. The faculty supervisors commended the students for their strong commitment to learning, independent research capabilities, and the academic quality of their work. They also recognized the students’ initiative in applying their knowledge to address real-world challenges.

Certificates were presented to the students upon the completion of their internship at the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC).

The internship program not only provided students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in EIU’s modern research environment but also contributed to strengthening international collaboration in education and scientific research. It lays a solid foundation for future academic exchanges and the development of a highly skilled workforce.

HIghlights from the Program:
