On June 29, Eastern International University (EIU), in collaboration with Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU), officially launched the EIU–CSMU International Volunteer Program 2026, marking the beginning of a series of cultural exchange, collaborative, and community service activities between students from the two universities.
Mr. Nguyen Le Ngoc Long, Secretary of the EIU Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, delivers remarks at the opening ceremony.
During the opening ceremony, CSMU students were introduced to an overview of EIU and had the opportunity to tour the university’s campus, facilities, and learning and research spaces. The program also featured networking and exchange activities, enabling students from both universities to build connections, interact, and prepare for the series of volunteer activities scheduled for the following days.

Over the coming days, under the coordination of the EIU Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, students from both universities will participate in a series of meaningful volunteer activities across northern Ho Chi Minh City. These include community service at the Que Huong Humanitarian Center, educational support at the Chanh Hiep Ward Charity Class, and English classes for children at the EIU Library.
Through these community engagement initiatives, the program aims not only to promote the values of compassion and social responsibility but also to provide students with valuable opportunities to develop teamwork, cross-cultural communication, and volunteer leadership skills.

The EIU–CSMU International Volunteer Program 2026 further demonstrates EIU’s commitment to advancing international collaboration, fostering a multicultural learning environment, and providing students with meaningful hands-on experiences rooted in humanitarian values. Through initiatives like this, EIU continues to nurture globally minded graduates who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and sense of social responsibility needed to make a positive impact on their communities.
