On the morning of May 29, Eastern International University (EIU) organized a professional exchange session on “Clinical Simulation Teaching Methods and Standardized Process Development” with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and practice in the field of health sciences.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Director of the Simulation Center at VinUniversity, shared his insights during the program.
The program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Director of the Medical Simulation Center, VinUni; along with leaders and lecturers from the EIU School of Health Sciences, the EIU Medical Simulation & Practice Center, Becamex International Hospital (BIH), and My Phuoc General Hospital.
At the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long focused on discussing methods for designing clinical simulation scenarios, classroom facilitation techniques, and post-simulation debriefing procedures to enhance training effectiveness and help learners strengthen their ability to handle real-life situations in medical settings.
EIU lecturers raised questions during the program
In addition, the program also provided an opportunity for EIU, doctors from the two hospitals, and experts to discuss the standardization of internal simulation implementation procedures, the improvement of professional documentation systems, and the updating of modern teaching methods in health sciences education.
Through this professional exchange, EIU continues to strengthen connections between the University and its partner hospitals, while gradually enhancing the quality of education, practice, and research in the medical field in a modern, practical, and globally integrated direction.
