On the morning of April 5, nearly 2,295 candidates took part in the first round of the 2026 Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City Competency Assessment Test 2026 at the test site hosted by Eastern International University.

According to observations, the examination was conducted seriously and in full compliance with established procedures, with no cases of candidates or proctors violating the regulations. All organizational activities were implemented in a coordinated manner, ensuring safety and order throughout the examination period.

To prepare for the examination, Eastern International University had previously reviewed its facilities to ensure the best possible conditions for candidates and organized training sessions for staff involved in the examination process. In addition, security measures were strengthened, and support teams were assigned to guide candidates and direct traffic before and after the examination. The university also arranged Hall 200.B3, with a seating capacity of 500, where parents could rest while waiting for candidates. Complimentary tea break refreshments were provided throughout the examination period.

The Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City Competency Assessment Test 2026 is considered one of the most important examinations for 12th-grade students and is also used as an admission method by many universities, including Eastern International University. Accordingly, candidates who achieve a score of 850 out of 1,200 or higher in the 2026 examination will have the opportunity to receive a Talent Scholarship worth VND 27,000,000 if they are admitted to one of EIU’s academic programs.
