Dr Anirban Mitra is a faculty member in the School of Computing and Information Technology at Eastern International University, Vietnam, and a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. He has over 20 years of extensive academic and administrative experience. Previously, he served as Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Amity University Kolkata, India. Prof. Mitra earned his Ph.D. (in Science and Technology—Computer Science) from Berhampur University (a public University) of India.
Dr. Mitra’s research interests span several interdisciplinary areas, including Social Network Analysis, Data Analytics, Knowledge Graphs, and applications of Graph Theory in computer science. He has authored and published nearly 100 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. In addition, Prof. Mitra has authored several books and has served as a Guest Editor and Associate Editor for reputed journals. He is also a reviewer for numerous reputed journals and has served as a Conference Chair and Session Chair at several prestigious international conferences.
