Spring of Love 2026: Spreading compassion strengthening community bonds

In response to the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign and the peak week of the program “Ho Chi Minh City Students March under the Party Flag,” the Youth Union and Student Association of Eastern International University (EIU) organized the “Spring of Love 2026” Music Night on the evening of January 23, under the theme “Traditional Tet – Modern Tet”. The program was held as a meaningful activity to celebrate the successful organization of the First Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City, while also commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnam National Union of Students.

The program was attended by Ms Tran Ngoc Que Anh, Specialist from the Youth Union and Youth Affairs Department of Ho Chi Minh City and Staff Member of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam National Union of Students Office, as well as a member of the City-level Steering Committee of the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign; Mr Bien Tuan Vu, Member of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Member of the Party Committee, and Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; Mr Mai Son Tung, Secretary of the Party Cell of Eastern International University; Mr Nguyen Le Ngoc Long, Secretary of the EIU Youth Union; and Mr Truong Chau Phuoc Loc, Vice Secretary of the EIU Youth Union and President of the EIU Student Association. The event also welcomed representatives from the Standing Committees of local ward Youth Unions, members of the Executive Board of the EIU Youth Union, the Secretariat of the EIU Student Association, representatives from Youth Unions and Student Associations of universities and colleges in the area, as well as a large number of students, parents, and children.

Tet gifts were presented to students and children at the Becamex Dinh Hoa Social Housing Area

In addition to impressive and vibrant performances that showcased the distinctive identities of invited guests, clubs, teams, and individual performers, the Organizing Committee presented Tet gifts and lucky money envelopes to students and children living in the Becamex Dinh Hoa Social Housing Area, thereby spreading the spirit of sharing and bringing a warm, compassionate spring to the community.

Through the program, students of Eastern International University continued to promote their pioneering spirit, sense of social responsibility, and humanistic values, contributing to the positive image of EIU students as dynamic, compassionate, and community-oriented young citizens.
