On January 28 and 29, Eastern International University (EIU) organized the workshop “Career Navigation for Professionals” (CNP Workshop). The program aimed to support the EIU’s staff and professional personnel in clarifying their career goals, thereby enabling them to develop development pathways aligned with their individual strengths and capabilities.

Throughout the two-day program, Mr Barnabas Chiang, staff in Office of Community Engagement, Eastern International University, offered participants diverse perspectives along with insights closely connected to current professional practices. According to Mr Barnabas Chiang, clearly defining one’s professional identity – through aligning personal values with job roles is considered an important foundation that enables individuals to enhance both their job fit and overall work effectiveness.

In addition, the CNP Workshop focused on supporting participants in exploring career development opportunities, cultivating a growth mindset, and making strategic choices for their future.
Held regularly, the CNP Workshop is one of the key initiatives within EIU’s human resource training and development strategy. The program contributes to helping staff and professionals clearly define their career pathways and strengthen their long-term development capabilities.
