In the days leading up to the 2026 Lunar New Year, the Youth Union and Student Association of Eastern International University (EIU) organized the “Xuan Tinh Nguyen” Campaign 2026 with a wide range of practical social welfare activities aimed at serving the community. The two key programs, “Tet Nghia Tinh” and “Tet Se Chia,” brought a warm and joyful spring atmosphere to local residents and social protection centers across Ho Chi Minh City.
As part of the campaign, on January 25, the Youth Union and Student Association of Eastern International University collaborated with the VSIP Youth Union and the Phu Giao Commune Youth Union to organize the program “Tet Nghia Tinh” in Phu Giao Commune. The program featured a series of meaningful activities, including the presentation of the youth project “100 National Flags” to the local Youth Union, as well as Tet support for local households and children.

In addition to social welfare activities, the program also focused on raising community awareness. EIU Youth Union members and students staged and performed the play “Out of the Frying Pan and into the Fire,” aiming to warn residents about online fraud schemes. Furthermore, a session on stroke awareness and basic first aid, along with a STEM robotics experience space, attracted significant interest from local residents and children.
Continuing the Spring Volunteer campaign, on January 31, the Youth Union and Student Association of EIU organized the program “Tet Se Chia” at Huong Duong Social Protection Center for Orphans and Children with Disabilities and Thien Duyen Social Protection Facility. During the visit, the delegation presented Tet gifts and essential supplies, while also providing hands-on guidance on basic first aid skills for the children.

According to Mr Nguyen Le Ngoc Long, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at Eastern International University, the “Xuan Tinh Nguyen” Campaign 2026 is not only an annual activity of the University’s youth but also a valuable environment for students to cultivate a sense of responsibility, develop social skills, and foster a spirit of dedication to the community.
The campaign concluded in a warm atmosphere, leaving many meaningful impressions and helping to spread the spirit of solidarity and compassion, while highlighting the positive image of EIU students through their contributions to local social welfare activities.
