“Women in Leadership”: Inspiring leadership mindset among EIU female students

On March 11, Eastern International University (EIU) organized the seminar “Women in Leadership,” attracting the attention of many students.

At the event, Ms Winnie Lam – Honorary General Secretary of the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam (HKBAV) and Director, Business Solutions at AB Horizon shared practical perspectives on the opportunities and challenges faced by women in leadership positions.

Through the discussion, students were introduced to various aspects of leadership competencies in the context of globalization, including strategic thinking, adaptability to international working environments, and communication skills in multicultural settings. In addition, the seminar emphasized the importance of self-confidence, a proactive mindset, and continuous personal development for women on their journey of building a successful career.

The seminar was one of the activities designed to connect students with industry experts and business leaders, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the demands of the modern labor market. It also aimed to encourage students – especially female students – to develop leadership thinking and shape their career orientation from an early stage of their academic journey.
