On December 13, EIU UniGames 2025 officially kicked off, creating a vibrant and competitive sporting atmosphere throughout Eastern International University (EIU). EIU UniGames 2025 is an annual sports festival organized by the Office of Student Affairs in coordination with the University Youth Union and the University Trade Union.

Athletes competed across various sports disciplines
The sports festival was organized to promote physical fitness, inspire a strong spirit of training and sportsmanship among lecturers, professional staff, and students, while creating an environment for interaction and connection. The event also contributes to improving overall health and fostering a dynamic, healthy, and positive campus culture.
In addition to the traditional sports disciplines, pickleball was introduced for the first time this year as a competitive event at the sports festival.
This year, the sports festival brought together more than 300 athletes, including EIU lecturers, professional staff, and students, competing across a wide range of exciting disciplines such as football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, pickleball, and the ‘Healthy Student’ physical fitness assessment.
After the first two days of competition, the Organizing Committee officially determined the championship title in the badminton event (lecturers’ category). The remaining events have also identified outstanding individuals and pairs who advanced through the preliminary rounds, ready to enter the next stages of competition with many exciting matchups ahead.
