On December 10, the Final Round of the BBS’s Case Competition 2025 officially took place, featuring the top five teams selected after more than two months since the competition kicked off.

Attending the program on behalf of Eastern International University (EIU) were Dr. Kang Seung Won – Dean Becamex Business School (BBS), Mr. Le Vinh Quang – Vice Dean Becamex Business School, along with lecturers, administrative staff, and students of the Schools. Representing the judging panel were Mr Phan Thanh Duc – General Director of Protrade Garment JSC; Ms Le Quynh Anh – HR Director; Ms Pham Thi Hue – Waste Management, Risk & Issues Senior Manager at Nike Vietnam Co., Ltd., in collaboration with GIZ; and Dr Pham Hoang Hien – Director of the Business Strategy course, BBS.”

At the event, the five competing teams 3F2M1P, Siêu Nhân Gao, One For All, Group 1, and Sunshine presented their projects to the judging panel. Each team developed its project based on topics suggested by the business partner, ranging from digital transformation and the shortage of high-quality human resources to marketing directions and planning, among others.

Team Siêu Nhân Gao and Team 3F2M1P won Third Prize
After three hours of competition, Team One For All excellently secured First Prize with the project “Smart Training, Future Gaining”. Team Group 1 won Second Prize with the project “From Resistance to Readiness – Building Trust and Corporate Culture in Protrade’s Journey to Digital Transformation”. Third Prize was awarded to Team Siêu Nhân Gao with the project “Developing a Corporate Brand Identity Strategy” and Team 3F2M1P with “Overcoming Recruitment Challenges in a Competitive Labor Market: The Case of Protrade Garment JSC”. In addition, the Organizing Committee presented the “Innovative Idea” award to Team Sunshine for the project “Leadership Metrics: Data-Driven Decisions for Strategic Advancement”, along with two “Best Poster” awards granted to other teams participating in the competition beyond the Top 5 finalists.

Sharing after the program, Mr Phan Thanh Duc stated that the competition clearly demonstrated EIU students’ strong spirit of exploration and research in addressing real business challenges. Their highly creative solutions offered valuable insights for the enterprise. Moreover, through the students’ confident performances, the company was also able to identify potential talented candidates for future positions within the organization.

BBS’s Case Competition 2025 is not only an academic playground but also an opportunity for BBS students to engage with real-world practice. By working directly on business challenges, students were able to apply their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and gain deeper insights into production and business operations. The strong collaboration between EIU and enterprises has laid the foundation for nurturing a young, practice-oriented workforce ready to confidently accompany businesses in their sustainable development strategies./.
