On October 22, Eastern International University (EIU) welcomed and held a working session with representatives from Bosch Vietnam to discuss potential collaborations in training, research, and technology transfer, aiming to develop high-quality human resources for the Industry 4.0 era.
Attending the meeting from Bosch Vietnam were Mr. Andre de Jong – Managing Director of Bosch Vietnam; Ms. Tran Khanh Ly – Business Development Department, Bosch Vietnam; and Mr. Le Thanh Liem – Senior Sales Engineer, Bosch Rexroth Vietnam. Representing EIU were Dr. Ngo Minh Duc – President; Dr. Le Ngoc Huan – Director of the Industrial Innovation Center for Industry 4.0 (IIC); and Mr. Alexius Oh – Vice Director Office of the Community Engagement.
EIU and Bosch Vietnam leaders exchange discussions during the working session
During the working session, the two parties discussed potential directions for future collaboration. Key topics included internship programs for EIU students, the possibility of co-organizing a “Bosch Career Day” at the university, and opportunities for knowledge exchange and experience sharing in professional training. Bosch Vietnam, which has already signed a memorandum of understanding with RMIT Vietnam in the field of supply chain management, expressed its intention to expand this cooperation model with EIU.
In the discussion, representatives from Bosch Vietnam shared their desire to broaden the company’s activities and presence in the Binh Duong area, now part of Ho Chi Minh City, and expressed their willingness to accompany EIU as guest speakers and technology solution providers at the university’s specialized seminars. On this occasion, both sides also explored the possibility of cooperation in SIRI assessments, as well as research and training programs in robotics and automation—key fields at the heart of the Industry 4.0 era.

Throughout its 15-year journey, EIU has consistently emphasized the importance of fostering connections between the university and businesses, especially with global technology corporations like Bosch Vietnam. Today’s working session between the two parties not only creates opportunities for students to gain practical learning experiences but also helps build a strong bridge linking education, research, and industry—toward sustainable development in the Industry 4.0 era.
