On October 22, Eastern International University (EIU), in collaboration with the Concierge Association of Vietnam (CAV), organized the program “Career Talk – Hotel Concierge” for students of the Becamex Business School, particularly those majoring in Hospitality Management.
Dr Cheah Kuan Yean – General Director of Becamex Hospitality Group and Lecturer at EIU, delivered the opening remarks at the event.

Through these sharings, students gained a deeper understanding of the mission, role, and career opportunities within this unique and service-oriented profession.
Mr Nguyen Thanh Danh – Chief Concierge at Renaissance Riverside Saigon – shared with students about the formation and development of the concierge profession.
Ms Tran Lam Thao – Chief Concierge at Landmark 81 Autograph Collection, discussed career opportunities in this field with the students.
In addition, the program provided students with valuable career orientation opportunities, helping them recognize the growth potential of the hospitality and luxury tourism industry in Vietnam, as well as the importance of communication skills, foreign languages, and cultural–social knowledge in serving international guests.
Students asked questions to the speakers.
Mr Dang Trung Truc – Chief Concierge at The Reverie Saigon Hotel, answered students’ questions.
The program concluded in an energetic and inspiring atmosphere.
