On September 5, 2025, Eastern International University (EIU) will hold the Opening Ceremony for the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year. The ceremony not only marks the beginning of a new academic year but also holds special significance as it coincides with the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the National Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) – a historic milestone affirming the noble mission of Vietnam’s education sector in nurturing future generations.
This year, in addition to participating in the on-campus event at EIU, the 2025 intake of new students will join the nationwide celebration of Education Day. Accordingly, the new students will attend the Opening Ceremony online as scheduled by the Ministry of Education and Training.
In particular, alongside the Opening Ceremony, in September 2025, new students will take part in the New Student Welcome Festival organized by EIU at the WTC Expo International Exhibition Center (Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). During this event, EIU will also award outstanding students who achieved the highest scores in their respective programs and the top achiever of the university.
Eastern International University hopes that the 2025 – 2026 Opening Ceremony and New Student Welcome Festival will serve as a source of inspiration for learning, encourage creativity and the desire to contribute, while also marking new milestones in the university’s educational cooperation and development of high-quality human resources.
