On August 23, at the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (Ho Chi Minh City), Eastern International University (EIU) held its EIU Commencement to honor new graduates who have successfully completed their academic programs and are now ready to enter the labor market and pursue their careers.
In attendance at the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council; leaders of Becamex Corporation; representatives of partner enterprises; the leadership of Eastern International University (EIU); along with faculty members, parents, and the new graduates.

The EIU Commencement 2025 not only marked an important milestone in the growth journey of EIU students but also served as an occasion to reflect on the university’s remarkable achievements over the past academic year — a year that coincides with the 15th anniversary of EIU’s establishment.
Invested and developed by Becamex Corporation, and guided by the educational philosophy of “Humanity – Community – Creativity – Sustainability” EIU has continuously strived to fulfill its mission of providing highly qualified human resources with strong expertise and foreign language proficiency to meet the urgent needs of the business community, particularly foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City and the region.
At EIU, academic programs are regularly updated to be interdisciplinary and practice-oriented; scientific research and innovation activities are strongly promoted; and the network of partnerships with enterprises and universities, both domestically and internationally, is constantly expanding, offering students a world-class learning and practical training environment. In addition, 100% of graduates achieve a minimum English proficiency of IELTS 6.0. Many EIU graduates have been recruited and have received highly positive feedback from leading domestic and international corporations.
Speaking at the EIU Commencement and presenting degrees to the new graduates, Dr Ngo Minh Duc, President of EIU, emphasized that the role of education in the new era is not only to impart knowledge but also to prepare learners with the ability to adapt to change, foster creative thinking, and instill a sense of responsibility toward the community. In this context, EIU has integrated technology into teaching and learning management — from online learning platforms to encouraging students to leverage digital technologies and artificial intelligence in their studies and research.
In addition, EIU has expanded its network by connecting with more than 40 universities and educational organizations worldwide, including in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, the United States, and South Korea. Through student exchange programs, visiting international faculty, and joint community projects, EIU provides students with opportunities to experience a multicultural learning environment while cultivating community engagement. Experiential learning activities, entrepreneurship initiatives, interdisciplinary research, and innovation programs are strongly promoted to inspire ideas, nurture boldness, and transform concepts into practical solutions for society
Mr Nguyen Tan Loi – Chairman of the University Council, commended the new graduates with outstanding academic achievements.
Beyond providing academic knowledge and professional skills, EIU also serves as a strong bridge between students and enterprises through collaborative programs, internships, and career opportunities. This close connection enables students to gain real-world experience during their studies while allowing businesses to access high-quality human resources.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Leo Klink – General Director of East West Industries (EWI) – expressed his confidence in the quality of education at Eastern International University and praised the eagerness to learn, adaptability, and practical competence of EIU students. ‘We are proud of our partnership with EIU, which has brought many talented individuals to EWI. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and welcoming more EIU students into the East West family,’ said Mr. Klink.
As one of the outstanding new graduates of 2025, Vo Thi Thanh Truc – a Marketing major from the Becamex Business School – emotionally recalled her memorable years at Eastern International University, while expressing her gratitude to the lecturers who not only imparted knowledge but also ignited passion and inspired her journey.
The EIU Commencement 2025 once again reaffirmed EIU’s commitment to spreading knowledge, nurturing talent, and creating positive values that contribute to the sustainable development of society.
