Applying 5-Axis, EDM, Laser, and Automation Technologies: A Solution to Strengthen the Semiconductor Industry

On September 26, Eastern International University (EIU), in collaboration with GF Machining Solutions Co., Ltd (UM VN), OPENMIND hyperMILL, Idemitsu Lube Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Blum-Novotest (BTC), organized a seminar on “5-Axis Milling, EDM, Laser, and Automation Technologies in Electronic and Semiconductor Component Manufacturing”.

Dr. Nguyen Trung Nghiep – Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Center and Lecturer at EIU’s School of Engineering – shared his insights at the program

The event attracted more than 70 participants, including managers, engineers, and experts in precision mechanical manufacturing, as well as EIU lecturers and students. Over the course of more than four hours, the speakers presented 10 topics related to the seminar theme, ranging from 5-axis machining solutions, EDM technology, hyperMILL programming, and form measurement and control, to Laser applications, industrial lubricants, and the S3R automation system. The presentations and discussion sessions were reported to be highly engaging, reflecting the strong interest of the business community in improving quality, efficiency, and competitiveness in the industry.
