Mr. Ha Thi Kim Phung is a leaturer at School of Health Sciences, specializing in pediatric nursing, nutrition, and dietetics. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado, USA, with a research focus on pediatric nursing. Her primary teaching areas include pediatric nursing, nutrition and dietetics, and fundamental nursing skills.

Her research interests focus on the effects of mobile health–based weight management programs on physical activity, eating behavior, self-efficacy, self-esteem, body image, and body composition among school-aged children with overweight and obesity. She received the Best Poster Award at EIUSC 2025 for her study Parental Perceptions and Practices in Caring for Children with Obesity: A Focused Ethnography, and the Best Poster Award at the EAFONS 2025 Conference in South Korea for her research on a systematic review of the effectiveness of physical activity and eating behavior interventions in school settings for children with overweight and obesity.

Her current research focuses on improving CPR education and identifying factors affecting CPR performance among students and the wider community.
