EIU welcomes nursing students from National University of Singapore (NUS)

From July 20 to 25, Eastern International University (EIU) welcomed a group of nursing students from National University of Singapore (NUS) as part of an academic exchange and clinical observation program with students from EIU’s School of Nursing.

Students visit Becamex International Hospital

Throughout the visit, students from both universities had the opportunity to explore and learn through practical experiences at EIU’s School of Nursing, Becamex International Hospital, and local healthcare centers in Binh Duong and Phu Loi wards, Ho Chi Minh City. At Becamex International Hospital, the students observed and studied real-time patient care procedures across departments such as Emergency, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, and Rehabilitation. These clinical environments provided valuable exposure to real-world practices, enhancing students’ professional knowledge and critical thinking in the healthcare field.

NUS students explore the culture and people of Ho Chi Minh City

Beyond academic and clinical activities, the students also explored the culture, people, and daily life in Ho Chi Minh City. These experiences not only enriched their cultural understanding but also strengthened the bond and friendship between students from Vietnam and Singapore, and more broadly, within the ASEAN community.

This clinical observation trip offered valuable lessons in a professional medical environment and fostered essential skills such as cross-cultural communication, international collaboration, and the confidence needed for their future nursing careers./.
