EIU and Singapore Polytechnic Conduct Site Survey for TF SCALE 2025 Phase 2

As part of the preparations for the TF SCALE 2025 Phase 2 program to be held at Eastern International University (EIU) from September 22 to October 3, 2025, coordinators from Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and EIU conducted a joint field survey in Binh Duong Province on June 23, 24, and 25, 2025. The main objective of the visit was to assess potential community project sites and understand local needs, thereby identifying suitable initiatives for implementation during the upcoming phase of the program.

Throughout the survey, the coordination team from both institutions visited and worked with various local businesses and entrepreneurs to gain deeper insights into the challenges they are facing. This also enabled the team to identify specific areas where students could make meaningful contributions by proposing practical solutions aimed at serving the community and promoting sustainable development.

The proposed projects focus on key themes such as sustainable agriculture, waste management, and environmental protection. The survey team held multiple productive meetings, exchanging ideas and discussing potential approaches to ensure the program provides both valuable learning experiences for students and tangible benefits for the local community.

This site visit not only marks an important starting point for the second phase of TF SCALE 2025, but also underscores the strong and ongoing collaboration between Singapore Polytechnic and EIU in nurturing a generation of globally responsible, innovative, and community-oriented students./.
