Accordingly, the university leadership has issued appointment decisions for Mr. Le Vinh Quang – Director of the Community Engagement Office, who will concurrently serve as Vice Dean of the Becamex Business School (BBS); and Dr. Vo Ngoc Thao Nguyen, BBS lecturer, who has been appointed as Program Director of the Business Administration major at BBS. The appointment announcement ceremony was held this morning (October 15).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, President of the university; Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Advisor to the University Council and former President, along with members of the Board of Management, former Presidents, leaders of faculties and departments, lecturers, and staff of BBS.

Speaking at the appointment announcement ceremony, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc emphasized: “The role of BBS in EIU’s development is extremely important. Over the years, BBS has made significant contributions to the university’s overall growth. Continuing this tradition, in the time ahead, BBS will have many important tasks, such as further improving the quality of education, participating in international accreditations like AACSB, and working closely with functional departments to increase student enrollment, thereby striving to realize its vision of becoming one of Vietnam’s leading business schools. Therefore, consolidating the faculty’s personnel structure is essential for BBS to maximize its internal strengths and successfully fulfill the tasks and goals assigned by the university.
Currently, Binh Duong province’s socio-economic landscape is entering a new phase, and thus, the province requires extensive consultation from local universities. The leadership of Becamex IDC Corporation, the University Council, and EIU’s Board of Management all expect BBS to quickly engage in this matter. In particular, BBS must be able to provide consultancy to businesses and closely link its academic research activities with the business sector. These are the directions that the provincial leadership and Becamex IDC Corporation are expecting,” the university president emphasized.

Continuing the program, Mr. Le Vinh Quang, MSc – newly appointed Vice Dean of BBS, expressed his sincere gratitude to the university leadership for entrusting him with this new role. Mr. Le Vinh Quang shared: “I am fully aware that this is not only an honor but also a great responsibility. Completing this task will not be simple, but in this new position, I will work together with my esteemed colleagues at BBS to achieve the goals and tasks assigned by the University Council and the Board of Management.”
