[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]EIU on September 28, 2022 welcomed with open arms visitors from the Lao Front Committee for National Construction in Champasak Province and a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee – Binh Duong Province on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Laos relationship, and 45 years of signing the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the two countries.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”16744″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The Lao mission was expected to serve as an important bridge between the two countries in boosting their educational relations.<\/p>\n
The mission was led by Ms. Vardasana Silima, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Lao Front Committee for National Construction in Champasak, Vice Chair of the Vietnam – Laos Friendship Association in Champasak. Deputy head of the mission was Dethnakhone Khonesavanh, Vice Chair of the Lao Front Committee for National Construction in Champasak.<\/p>\n
The delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee – Binh Duong province was presented by Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the committee.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”16746″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The EIU side included EIU President Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc, EIU Vice President Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, and leaders of faculties and departments of EIU.<\/p>\n
Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc expressed his gratitude to the Lao visitors. He said EIU hoped it could enhance the cooperation and development relationship in education between EIU and universities in Champasak. EIU also welcomes Lao students to come to study at EIU, they will be provided with the most favorable conditions in study.<\/p>\n
Ms. Vardasana Silima praised the study environment, and teaching and research models of EIU. She said she hoped the visit would be a bridge to help build cooperative relationships between Champasak universities and EIU.
