[vc_row][vc_column][vc_wp_text]On December 6, 2023, Eastern International University (EIU) organised a panel discussion to introduce the publication “V\u00ec m\u1ed9t Vi\u1ec7t Nam d\u00e2n gi\u00e0u n\u01b0\u1edbc m\u1ea1nh” and a seminar on “Vietnam’s Economic Outlook\u201d.<\/p>\n
“V\u00ec m\u1ed9t Vi\u1ec7t Nam d\u00e2n gi\u00e0u n\u01b0\u1edbc m\u1ea1nh” brings together writings from 23 authors, including lecturers, researchers, journalists, and business professionals from both domestic and international backgrounds. The book, co-edited by Professor Tran Van Tho and cultural historian Tran Huu Phuc Tien, focuses on crucial aspects of economic and social development. It addresses pressing issues such as the conditions for Vietnam to deeply and actively participate in the global supply chain, solutions to enhance access to capital for small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam, proposals for the robust development of private enterprises in Vietnam, and discussions on training high-quality human resources for the new phase of industrialization, among others.[\/vc_wp_text][vc_single_image image=”161147″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_wp_text]<\/p>\n
The<\/span><\/em> authors of the book “V\u00ec m\u1ed9t Vi\u1ec7t Nam d\u00e2n gi\u00e0u n\u01b0\u1edbc m\u1ea1nh” interacted during the panel discussion.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n [\/vc_wp_text][vc_column_text]Furthermore, the authors of the book propose specific solutions to aim towards and achieve the goal of a “prosperous and powerful” nation.<\/p>\n The seminar “Vietnam’s Economic Outlook” took place after the book launch, presenting and discussing topics such as how Vietnam’s economy can escape the middle-income trap, the economic outlook for Vietnam in 2023 and prospects, and the economic dynamics and new challenges in Binh Duong province. During the seminar, practical proposals and recommendations were made that align with real-world requirements.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”161149″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_wp_text]<\/p>\n Authors and representatives from the publishing house presented the book to the university<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n [\/vc_wp_text][vc_column_text]It’s noteworthy that in this strategic development plan, both Becamex in general and EIU in particular play important roles in building and promoting the entrepreneurial ecosystem, innovation, and Industry 4.0. This is a specific example of applying the Three Houses model (State, School, and Enterprise) in constructing a smart city. Specifically, Becamex is a leading and pioneering enterprise in building a new generation industrial ecosystem with innovation as the foundation, meeting the new needs of Vietnam and the era, such as smart transformation and sustainable development. EIU is at the forefront of connecting universities with businesses to build an innovative ecosystem.
